who else thinks Iowa gets fricked by Michigan State?

honestly the most overrated team in the country. In the SEC west they would lose to every team. Probably Tennessee too. If they get in the playoffs and matchup with Bama somehow, please throttle them.

I don't think so. Iowa doesn't turn the ball over, plays pretty solid defense and controls clock. Honestly I don't know what to expect. I would think Cook will have a good day and Michigan State will win by 10 or so, but it wouldn't surprise me if Iowa gives them all they want.

I think so. MSU is playing good right now and I think they will take Iowa out.

Yep. Know how people were talking about how much of a joke our last 5 games were, and will be next year? That's practically what Iowa's entire schedule looks like.

Should be a close game I think.

Iowa isn't gonna get blown out, but they won't win either. Sparty wins by at least 10. 27-14 Michigan State with the W.

Another (insert name) would be destroyed by the SEC west thread

This is the most unknown game IMO, Iowa could have success power running against MSU. If that happens it may be really close.

I think Michigan State should crush them.
But they will probably keep it within 14 points.

Iowa has yet to play a decent football team.

I think Iowa beats them tbh. Very low scoring game.

Jeez, it's starting to look like no one has played anyone decent this year.
College football is down this year.

Iowa has definitely played some decent football teams. Come on guys.
W vs 8-4 Pitt 27-24
W vs 9-3 Wisconsin 10-6
W @ 10-2 Northwestern 40-10
Those teams aren't elite, but those are solid wins.

maybe.
they've won all their games. Who should they be ranked behind? I do think Michigan State will beat them in a relatively close game.

meh, SEC West isn't some juggernaut.

MichSt should win that game. But Iowa doesn't really make a lot of mistakes. If MichSt makes some blunders, they'll lose.

Agree - I think Iowa is basically equal to Wisconsin with a slightly better offense (their game made it even seem more the case) and Wisconsin played us as well for 3 quarters and a lot of the other SEC teams we played.

You just made me an Iowa fan... and I already was and is a Sparty fan.

I saw this exact same thread last week for Nebraska. I don't see it. These teams are statistically identical

My kid has shown some interest in Iowa, so I have been watching them this year. They are your standard throw back team that runs the ball, throws possession type passes to the TE, and plays good defense. While I haven't seen Sparty play, Iowa isn't a push over.
