What followed was the collapse of one of the best programs in the country. Mike DuBose brought a more wide open offense that resembled the Fun 'N Gun at Florida but he couldn't win games. Then you had the whole Albert Means scandal, as well as the fiascoes involving Franchione and Price. We spent a decade in the wilderness as a result of forcing Stallings to tender his resignation.

You are throwing away a coach who has won 78% of his games over 11 seasons because of a "slump" that only really got started last year. You are at risk of becoming a lot like Alabama post-Stallings or even Tennessee post-Fulmer.

So yeah, please forgive us if we don't see what you see.
