It's possible to keep their offense in check but the problem is our offense won't be able to give the d a rest and eventually the floodgates will open

That is the most reasonable outcome. It's also reasonable that JJ throws the ball backwards and the flood gates opens early.

The other possible outcome, get ready because this will be good, JJ throws the ball like mad. We have a multitude of 20 yard plays, the JJ led redzone offense is unbelievable and JJ ends the day with 350 yards passing and 5 total TDs in the Auburn win.

And we all go, where was that all season!?! And we laugh and laugh. And next year we are ranked top 10, JJ Heisman candidate, we talk a little preseason trash, and then Clemson destroys Auburn, JJ is a disaster but Gus won't give up on him and Auburn is out of the top 25 in 2 weeks, 3 wins in the SEC, dead last in SECW.

That would make JJ is our version of CMR, he wins our SB and nothing else that matters.
