I'm just saying, until proven otherwise I don't see how anyone can say we'll get more TDs than FGs against an FBS defense rn

Without Chubb, UGA isn't going to be doing much better either

I've seen the plan- Anytime we move the ball inside the 20 without scoring on the play, we false start until we are safely out of the red zone. We will try from the 21 yd line. Red zone issues solved.

I think our defense really tees off again for the second game in a row.

31-10.

Last season and earlier this season, it seemed the RZ inefficiencies were on play calling. Last game, I think the coaches called a good game inside the 20, there was just one guy on a play that failed to execute each time.

Red Zone Offense

As bad as our RZ offense has been, UGAs has actually been worse.

Posted this in another thread, but better suited in this one.

I wonder if AU is looking at this as a revenge game. Honestly, this is really the only game last season where we didn't show up and got embarrassed. We were in every other game.

We have momentum from the A&M game carrying over and it's at home. I don't care if it is an early kick.

I watched the UGA/KY game and I don't think the score reflects how the game really looked. By all accounts the first half was ugly and UGA didn't look good.

It looked like UGA game planned much the same way we did with JJ. They utilized their run game and a lot of wild cat.

Also, I think KY was without their best RB.

UGA was lucky to score their first TD because it was a bad exchange and the wildcat qb luckily was able to scoop it up.

Currently, UGA sits at #29 in rushing defense in the country (OM is 27 and Ark is 28).

Love cfbstats.com - you can really drill down into trends when you look at game splits.

UGa was pretty decent in RZ offense early in the year while Chubb was still healthy - 13 TDs in 19 trips (68.42%) in their first 4 games. Meanwhile, AU was 6 of 12 (50%).

Then the bottom dropped out for the Dawgs - check out their RZ performance in their next four contests: Oh for October

Big plays (20+ yards from scrimmage) have fallen off for them as well - 27 in four September games, only 18 in the five games since (we were dead last in the SEC in the first month with only 8, but have had 25 in our last 5 matchups).

So for my pick I'm gonna say - again, I have no earthly idea.

Well, it worked last week....

Really drives home the point our offense has improved throughout the season while Georgia has regressed.

This will make or break my birthday Saturday, always does.

AU pick six puts the score 24-24 all with 5 minutes left. Lawson channels his inner Fairley and destroys the QB on an ensuing UGA drive 3rd down forcing a punt. Gus runs to play conservative to force OT but Robinson rips off a big, tackle breaking run to put us in FG range. Carlson kicks a 35yd FG dagger as time expires.

27-24 for the AU win.
