"No choice but to support players"

This is BS. First of all he certainly wasnt supporting the half of the team who wanted to play.
A real coach would have explained plain and clear behind closed doors that the team is not your personal vehicle for political statements. If they feel that strongly about it they should have just quit to show support. They made a commitment the coaches and each other. They are only punishing their teammates and loyal fans who stuck around while they stunk up the place.

If he does it sends the football program to C-USA level talent. Because of how the media was handling this he had no choice

so then the offense would be better?

He did have a choice. He chose to help chop block his boss.

1st off, you're why Alabama is still dirt poor.
2nd off, if a big group of young athletes, huge ones at that, those to whom you are intimately linked, say they're gonna do something and are united for the first time this season...
You let them. You support them, even.

One guy on campus individually deciding to protest by starving himself. Millions starving worldwide. Maybe they should pick their fights a little better.

Except they were the opposite of united.

How can I ever match such wit...
They weren't united, that is clear. It was about 30 guys that hijacked the team for their own political reasons.

um, yeah maybe if you're a little bitch. but not if you're the head coach of the team and you understand you have a job and responsibility to the entire team and the school.
Pinkel should be fired for this shite. You can bet his next boss wont be happy with this and it will be hard for him to get hired at another school because of the way he handled this situation. But I guess the inmates are running the asylum up there. If the LoBC supports him, what more does he need?

If Mizz wasn't total garbage this season, there would have been no protest. This is about a very bad team that has selfish players trying to deflect attention away from putrid performances. I am going to enjoy watching BYU beat them by 4 touchdowns.

Speaking of, how would Pat Dye have handled this situation?
Posted on 11/9/15 at 6:30 pm to genuineLSUtiger
This shite would have never happened if Pat Dye was the coach.

Dye was old school. He would have dropped the hammer on those little bitches and then been fired after a drunken, rambling press conference where he dropped the F bomb about a dozen times.
