Well Ogbeide does set the worst screens I've ever seen. He acts like we're the Warriors or something.

Ole Miss on the road, auburn on the road, Chattanooga game one, blowing the lead vs Kansas State. Win just 2 of those and we are easily in. Also not playing in a tournament might have hurt us. We played 2 less games this year than most people. Very frustrating.

That said, man what a great road performance, really impressive. SC is dang good at home and it was their senior night. Some big time performances.

You forgot LSU....

But, WG will be along shortly to remind you that we won a lot of close games too....

We did. It's just kind of funny how we're supposed to win every close game. Basketball obviously just doesn't work that way. The two biggest ones I believe we should have (not could have) won were Auburn and Ole Miss. Moody got away with a travel and we got absolutely screwed by the refs once again. Auburn just isn't very good.

lol

It's not like something that I feel obligated to remind people of or anything, it's really just kinda common sense and all it does it just piss you off thinking about what could have been, ya know? Like, pointing out that "oh if we had won those 4 games we lost, we'd be much better!" Well yeah, duh. But at the same time we beat high point by 3, missouri by 3, arkansas by 3, and now sc by 2. It'd be just as easy to say "aw man, if we lost those 4 close games that we won we wouldn't even be in the NIT!"

I'll take the W. Hopefully we can get a couple wins in the tournament and make the committee have to at least think about us.

Yeah I think 2 wins at least puts on the bubble.

Will be interesting to see the finalized bracket

Good win today. Should be high 60's RPI heading into the SECT. A win or 3 would probably get us in. Damn those early season losses. Chattanooga...

Isn't it just the higher seed with home court? I know we hosted 2 years ago

So if South Carolina loses, we get the 5 seed right? That would be huge.

I don't get why you make fun of the Chattanooga loss so much. They're 24-5, and are ranked 61st in the RPI.

Higher seed hosts until the semifinals and championship, which are held at MSG.

Unless you're Kentucky and decide not to host a NIT game for some reason and have to play at Robert Morris, resulting in the most embarrassing loss in school history. To this day, I still can't believe that actually happened.
