This would make it interesting for sure. heavy rain would go to the best defense. That being said I think LSU's defense will expose just how bad our offensive line really is. I bet they have 5 sacs or more.
Well aren't you just a ray of sunshine and optimism.

LSU played their last game in a monsoon. I would think this plays to LSU's favor except that fournette cant make his cuts
Posted on 11/2/15 at 10:41 pm to FourThreeForty
natural grass at BDS right?
The field at Tiger Stadium held up about as well as could be hoped for after the pre-game monsoon but it was still a mess and cuts weren't great.
Hoping its not another sloppy game on a slick field.

Fournette needs a fast track to be Fournette. He can be a mudder, mind you, but nowhere near his full potential. No wet track on earth can support his cleat at full speed and cut.

I think rain ultimately favors us. It helps take the crowd out of the game to an extent (not saying fans won't show up, but your energy is just lower when it's pouring rain. Happens to everyone.) and our backfield is deeper than Bama's. Williams would seriously shine in a game like this.

I just looked at the Weather Channel, Intellicast, Weather Underground and Accuweather and all them are in agreement on a fairly low chance of precipitation at kickoff. Looks like the rain should taper of around 3.

Mud definitely favors Henry smashing into people and hurting them with 8 yard pick ups over Fournette who is more of a finesse runner (comparatively speaking), although I have this wonderful image in my mind of Bama winning the toss, it being really cold, rainy, and miserable, Fournette scoring on the first drive, then the fans there all going silent, and leaving in droves in the 2nd half.

Ask the less talented Nkemdiche's ankle how much finesse Fournette is. He's the total package, you just get less of it on a muddy playing field.

Just because there isn't rap music and an MTV dance party at every tailgate like in Baton Rouge doesn't mean it's a lame tailgate.
Just kidding....sorta. Not gonna lie. You guys love your bad rap music at tailgates but I have to admit y'all know how to throw down and you usually have some fine a## scenery getting down to said rap music ;)

I think Bama is really vulnerable. This year the Tide just doesn't have that same swagger.

Don't go there. Georgia and LSU are completely different entities this year, each game Georgia seems more confused than the one before and their coach is in deep trouble.

Bama IS very vulnerable IF LSU can jump out to more than a 7 point lead. The problem is that we FINALLY have a legit pass rush from our front 7 this year and we are stout against the run. The back end of the D is stronger too. We struggle with spread teams that can consistently throw the ball (i.e. Ole Miss) and we have a tendency to turn the ball over at times. LSU will be a handful with Fournette, a solid qb, and a strong D though.

The Tiger defense against the pass is not that good
