What I'm asking is what is broken and how it should be fixed (by another coach). You say his problem is that his systems are broken, but what does that mean in terms of specifics? If you were getting a job evaluation and your boss said "you just aren't good", wouldn't you want to know exactly what you were doing wrong so you could at least try to fix it?

If CMR was getting a job review with me it would start like this---"Since 2009 UGA teams are 5-16 against ranked teams. We pay you $5.4 million. Your job is to have a winning football program at UGA. You are not doing it."

That is about all you say to the top guys.

Should you have to tell a top guy how to build a program? Who is capable of telling him? No.

His job is to build the program--all of it. His job is to recognize the problems whether they be personnel or talent or whatever and correct them.

He is the "big cheese".

Who am I to say what this $5 million guy should do to get the results he is paid to do?

Meh, the money argument isn't an issue for me. We have a lot of money and we will pay any coach a lot of money.

The issue with losing games to top teams is a more valid argument for me. But that doesn't address the "why".

You know why I care so much about specifics? Because if we don't know what, exactly, CMR is doing wrong, how can we know if we're going to upgrade? "Different" doesn't always mean "better".
