Back to the thread subject. FSU has an easier road to the playoffs than UF. FSU is not as strict with admission standards as UF. The local police force is known to look out for FSU football players.
UF has a more wealthy alumni base. UF is the flagship University for the state. It is typically listed as top 10 job for CFB.

UF was irrelevant until the 90s. I don't consider that much of a football history. Just existing as a football program =/= football history
