Need a prayer or some words of encouragement

I know I may come across as an a-hole here... though I have tried to put life and UGA sports in perspective... I met this beautiful young lady 8 years ago... we went on to get married and we were blessed with a beautiful little girl. We received news 20 weeks from today that we would be welcoming another true die hard DAWG into the family... We found out Monday.... man... this is hard to write... I apologize... it's tough... It's a boy... My boy Jack... My wife is now in the ER having complications with her pregnancy... The doctors say there is a less than 25% chance the baby.., My boy... survives... It's killing me.... I'm sorry for sharing this but I consider this place as another place to share my feelings because alot of you assholes make me feel good on a daily basis... All sports aside... I had huge plans and still do, but now I feel empty... I feel bad for my wife and my daughter... Again... I love all you guys Disney, Doomsday, or not... Pray for us please. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to hear that, Kneehigh. It's tough thing to go through. My wife and I went through the exact same thing. Unfortunately, we lost our son after 4 months of pregnancy. It's the hardest thing you can go through alone, but you don't have to.

my son was attacked by leukemia when he was 5 yrs old. we almost lost him on 6-7 occasions and probably more we didn't know about. he finally beat it by the age of 11 and is in his 30's now, engaged and is helping his fiancé raise 4 children. Miracles do happen. there are no words to describe losing a child, unborn or post-birth. Hang in there and stay strong for your wife. She will need you badly no matter what happens.

Damn Knee, I gotta say you hit home there buddy. My son's name is Jack and I can't imagine what you guys are going through. Prayers to you, your family, and the medical staff caring for your wife and child. Praying for whatever healing it us that you guys need right now.

Praying for God's grace upon your family. Like others on here, we went through these circumstances also. Not only losing one but we also have a special needs child now. What really helped us through it besides God's love was people stepping up like this post letting us know we were not alone in the struggle. Many of our friends told us they went though this also that we would have never thought. Not that we would wish it on anyone but it helps knowing we were not alone. You are not alone.. we are all here for you.
