when the political correctness pendulum swings back the other way, i wonder what life is going to be like for these people that study dildos and decide they are appealing or scary and similar things. all of these folks seem to be from qualitative fields, and qualitative inquiry is supposed to start with an open acknowledgment of one's own biases so the consumers of their work can understand how those biases may affect the statements made. But that never seems to happen -it's just a bunch of so-called professors making declarations that 99% of the time have men as evil and white people as evil and white men as the originators of evil. there's nothing inherently bad about conducting this study if viewed in isolation, but as a collective, such "research" endeavors are getting rather predictable and rarely seem to be well founded. It seems these efforts are wrought with bias from start to finish. So, when the pendulum swings back, a lot of these people may find themselves totally out of work. Such bias won't be trusted and thus they won't be employed.
