He discussed that also. Said he needed to be benched. He was not very good and ready. Also, said had social media been around he wouldn't have been able to handle it.

It was the early days of the fan sites on the interwebs, and I remember the abuse being heaped on Leard was brutal - fortunately in those dial-up, pre-Google days, all that criticism was pretty hard to find, unless you knew exactly where to look.
