Same discussion. But everyone gets all jacked up on the predictions. Overtime Marshall would miss a wide open receiver, people were ready to pull him for Jeremy. You really can't have everything. But a strong running game is always better than a strong passing game. Its just more consistent

Give me 2013 style offense and you can keep the flashy passing game.

I'll take whatever works. At the highest level--the NFL--the best teams, spare the Seahawks, all lean heavily on their passing attacks. We've yet to see Malzahn's offense with a great passer. I thought JJ would be that guy, but he has collapsed mentally.

The 2013 offense was cool to watch, but everything went right for AU that year, and the lack of a good passer hurt AU several times. Anyways, the offense definitely sucks with JJ.

Not to open a whole new box of worms, but JJ has been in Gus' system going on his third year and he's terrible fundamentally. I'm not sold on Gus developing a great passer. He needs to find an athlete that can pass when needed and run what he's run with Nick and Cam.
