We were terrible against the big boys in 2009 and don't give me Tulsa and Arkansas State BS. If you think we're going to beat LSU, Georgia, and Alabama with a drop back passer in this offense, then you're delusional.

Sigh. Auburn barely lost to Alabama in 2009, with far less talent. Ohio State runs a spread offense, and they had no problem with Alabama. Implying that an offense that works at Tulsa and Arkansas state, when playing against opponents with equal talent, magically stops working in the vaunted SEc is intellectually offensive. As I just said, and you mysteriously ignored, Ole Miss runs a clone of Malzahn's offense and they could Alabama for the second year in a row. LSU, Georgia, and Alabama are all known for underachieving due to their offensive schemes. All of the best offenses in the NFL a spread, shotgun offenses. I don't know what to tell you, bud. I'm more than willing to jump on an offensive scheme for being bad, bad you're misguided.

I suppose you would like to go back to the days of Tuberville where AU had zero national championship appearances as opposed to Malzahn's offense having had two NC appearances within 4 years. Smart.
