Seemed like Muschamp didnt want those guys giving up big plays.

I hate that plan. Instead we'll let them completely neutralize our DLine by giving them quick slants and bubble screens for 8 yards a pop for 4 quarters.

We take away opportunity from the strength of our defense and let teams expose our weakest area. How dumb is that?!

I mean, its really not that dumb when trying to build depth in the secondary with TFR. Early game in the year against a team that we should have crushed and didnt mostly because of the offensive struggles.

1st half offensive drives...
5 plays - punt
15 plays - FG
10 plays - FG
4 plays - INT
3 plays - punt

The biggest concern you have for young players in the D is missed assignments leading to busted plays. Muschamp put those guys in for a lot of time getting valuable game reps in high percentage defensive plays.
