Some of my thoughts after watching...
- Roc looked the worst from the RB spot. He was indecisive in finding the hole and getting upfield.
- Golson needs to really work on his timing with the man in motion (Louis mostly). Sometimes Louis had to come to a complete stop to allow the snap to pass him.
- The OL for the most part looked pretty good. The penalties were drive killers and/or worse.
- JJ throws the quick slants and out routes towards the sidelines extremely well. He throws the ball with accuracy and with zip on those passes.
- Two INTs came after the offense got put in a 3rd in long because of a holding penalty (one which wiped away a 50+ yard TD, the other which converted a 3rd and short).
- Auburn ran pretty much on all running downs and passed on all passing downs. Not much creativity.
- I'm convinced we haven't been running zone-read plays all that much. I'm also convinced that Gus/Lashlee are giving JJ predetermined reads sometimes instead of letting him go through his progressions. The second INT looked like only two WRs ran routes.
- JJ needs to settle down when he feels pressure. He sails them once a defender gets close to him. He also doesn't step into his throws which messes with his accuracy.
- Both HBacks were inconsistent on getting good blocks.
Overall a few mental mistakes really made the game closer than it should have been. Two holding calls could have added another 14 points for the offense and taken away two INTs.
I won't be watching the JSU tape...

Good breakdown. No more JJ passes over the middle.
