...and not much against it's other two opponents...

LSU is likely to run the ball in this game not due to any philosophical commitment, but because Auburn’s run defense looks terrible. Especially with lawson presumed to not be at 100% (was seen on crutches again this week)

Thus the proverbial irresistible force running into a very, very moveable object.

How bad? Let’s look at Louisville’s game by game rushing yards for an illustration:

v Auburn 48-238
v Houston 26-70
v Clemson 28-19

The Cards rushed for NINETEEN yards against Clemson. They’ve only rushed for 89 yards on 54 attempts in games against non-Auburn defenses. And both of those were at home. But on a neutral field that was actually closer to an Auburn home game, Louisville turned into freaking Georgia Tech.

Their yds/carry goes from 1.65 to 4.96 when playing Auburn.

Jacksonville St. had 171 yards. LINK

How many yards rushing will LSU have against Auburn tomorrow?

Those teams also had a functionable QB. LSU, not so much.

Take out the qb that runs a 4.4 forty, and they ran 32 times for 132 total yards.

A lot of those were on quarterback runs. How much will LSU let Harris run knowing if he gets injured you are stuck with Jennings? Louisville also ran an offense Petrinio has never ran before and 5, 6, or 7 defensive players missed the JSU game

LSU last in passing defense in the SEC.

DBU

USM held Dak to a lower percentage and 100 less yards.

If they don't rush for over 1,000 it should be considered a loss.

It might be time to include Muschamp in the Auburn offensive game planning, to slow the game down, and protect the D-line from LSU rushing game or it might get ugly.

If they would have played that white QB that they're playing now, Louisville would have had negative rushing yards against us. But don't let facts get in your way. Carry on

None of this will help LSU overcome the two TD win by Auburn.

The fact that Auburn fans are resting their chances on a single defensive player tells me all I need to know. Auburns is seriously fricked.

dude... I hate Auburn as much as anyone, but the comparison and reason you just gave shows how naïve about football you are. While Auburn's defense has a long ways to go under Muschamp, LSU's offense plays right into his style.

The transitive property doesn't work well in football.

Trying being just a fan instead of an analyst until you understand football a little better.
