It had nothing to do with fear, but all to do with revenue.

Why would we play in College Station when both made nearly double the revenue playing in Tiger Stadium? Your stadium held 30,000 less fans.

So both teams benefitted more playing in Tiger Stadium. Many don't know, but for the longest time LSU and Tulane had a building war for who could build the bigger stadium in the SEC. It went back and forth for years.

this is correct. It was an odd agreement where we split gate receipts equally but always played in BR. Both schools made more money that way but it certainly had an impact on the series.

It's why I picked modern era. We played home/home mostly and plus it's when I've been alive and I consider b.tmc to be irrelevant
