I was down around both those areas earlier today. Betting it won't take long to find the 3rd person.

quote:

The incident happened at Roebuck Shopping Plaza on Parkway East. Police told WVTM 13 that an officer was making a traffic stop for an unknown reason, when one suspect exited the vehicle and attacked the police officer. Another suspect ran away.

quote:

Both suspects were taken into custody between the 600 and 900 block of Shady Wood Lane, just off of Gadsden Highway. The location was within block of W.J. Christian School.

quote:

Two suspects were taken into custody, but Birmingham Police said they are still searching for additional suspects that may be involved.

The officer arrived at UAB Hospital around 11:40 a.m. Officers blocked the intersection near UAB as the injured officer arrived.

Police say the officer sustained a head injury but is expected to make a full recovery.

Authorities say the officer's gun was recovered before 1 p.m.

I grew up going to movies in that shopping center. Before they built the two theaters in Center Point.
