quote:Haha no, I saw you turn a thread to shite yesterday with your bashing of Athens and see you trying it again today. I'm far from stalking you...you just don't blend in with a Clemson flair and spitting out page after page of bullshite to get a rise.
you basically stalk me on here, then tell others to ignore me. you act like people don't think for themselves, you call the shots.
I don't even know why I am giving you the satisfaction of replying to your post again

the guy is a fricking idiot. See my sig quote..he thinks the ACC was better than the SEC in the aughts because of phillip rivers and matt ryan. Nevermind the fact the SEC won 5 national championships during that 10 year period to the ACC's zero.

The mayor of Milledgeville's brother was Sherman's room mate at West Point.
I forget the Athens connection. I remembered it earlier, but it's been a long day.

rig....sometimes I don't really like you very much. But days like today I fricking love you. Athens trivia facts are always welcome in my book.

If you go to the grit or the globe..yes it's hipster central. 90% of the places you'll go (as a visitor) in athens you'll have a wonderful time
So are you saying you won't have a wonderful time at the grit or the globe?

It depends on what you're looking for. The person I was responding to (which wasn't you) has an aversion to hipsters, so no...he wouldn't have a good time there.
Just skip forward to the main point of your troll so I can figure out how to proceed.

So glad, PNW included Whitehall Forest in the original post. Love that area. Also, Flinchum's Phoenix was always fun for every party I attended there. It is truly a wonderful location for a laid back party.
Also, the area around Memorial Park, including the hiking/running trail is so nice to be able to get away without getting in a car.
Finally, the trails at the Botanical Gardens were always a favorite haunt as well.

all kind of history in Clemson, starting with Dr. Clemson and his father in law Calhoun, a big name in SC politics.
The entire town of Pendleton which is basically Clemson is on the national registry of historic places.
I don't know about Clemson, but Athens possesses 21 historic districts as well as 31 sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

On a related note, it'd be cool if the University would do something with the old beach at Lake Herrick. Turn it into a rowing boat house a la Tennessee or something. I haven't seen a person on that beach in years, let alone in the water.

well, at least when I was in school, the geese that hung out on that beach would absolutely cut a bitch that dared to look at them wrong. Mean lil frickers.
