Is the new Bolton worth the 16 or whatever to eat a single meal there? Better than ECV?

And everyone should ignore this Clemson douche from this day forward.

Only alums can walk under it. I waited four years and it felt great to walk under that bitch. Can't wait to go to games and walk under that shite on the way to and from downtown

I was in Athens for 2 days last week and I was more sad than happy. I'm only a year out and I just can't get over not being there. It's too awesome.

Oh and old Bolton for life

tying in with the thread theme....

I had to do some community sercie at the lyndon hpuuse museum downtown once. It remains the only place I've ever been/seen/heard of that has an actual, real live 1929 uga/yale ticket.

I asked the curator about purchasing but she said it was donated to the museum by a private owner.

Best tailgating experience ever. The annual Lettermen's Barbecue in there is a must-do if you have a connection into it.

anybody that tells other people what to do is the douchebag. go to burger king and get a crown because you think u are a king.

most people who complain about me on here rarely post except on threads that I post on. you basically stalk me on here, then tell others to ignore me. you act like people don't think for themselves, you call the shots.

Same here. I have folks in Fenton and visited Ann Arbor for the first time over New Year's. Great place! I may be moving to Fenton next August.

Make sure you make it up to the Upper Peninsula sometime. Obviously, make it to Ann Arbor for a game weekend.

The town of Clemson is much smaller, there are no large libraries and courthouses and other institutional buildings like Athens has. Clemson students and alumni are anti- development there.

I guess "anti-development" is an edgy way of saying we're a bunch of poor, broke dicks?

Agree. Clemson sucks.

Athens is more than a college town. It's a thriving community of awesome people, similar to Ann Arbor.

I guess I should edit it to, "make sure you make it up to the Upper Peninsula in spring and summer months."

I assume now that Athens being fairly close to Augusta, which basically became the state capital during the Civil war, is how that site was selected.

1796 was the last year Augusta was Georgia's state capital. Milledgeville was the state capital during the war. It is important too know our history before speaking of it.

Not only is this correct, but Kyge would agree with this.

Furthermore, Sherman marched straight into Milledgeville during his burn-everything-march-to-the-sea. But Sherman didn't burn it.

Does anyone know why Sherman spared Milledgeville?

And for bonus points, does anyone also know the Athens connection?
