Your "staff" has franks because Patterson was coming here, not because the fans and "staff" think he is better than the rest of the world. That said, both are going to schools that actually fit them. These threads are getting old

You dumb MFers know the facts so quit trying to pretend that LSU got screwed. Cam liked Franks, he was offered, and he committed. Ole Miss wasn't even being considered by either of Franks or Patterson at that time. What school in this country would have turned down Frank's commitment when he made it? I can honestly say that I never thought that LSU would get both of those kids. I was pissed that Miles was risking the commitment of Franks with the hiring of Sean Jr and any pursuit of the younger kid. I'm glad it worked out. Cam got who he wanted and the Patterson's have moved on. The way he left La couldn't have been better. He showed his La "brothers" how committed he was. I'm sure he'll be puling them to OM by the truckload. I wouldn't be surprised if he finds a new home between now and signing a LOI. People with low ethical standards typically continue down the same path. Maybe a higher bidder will come courting and it's obvious who calls the shots. It isn't the kid.

Patterson wasn't coming to LSU with Franks committed. The fact that THE school in his backyard had taken a commitment from another highly ranked QB was enough to get that whole family to flirt with the LSU staff for more than a year. LSU wasn't ever dropping Franks for Patterson. LSU also wasn't giving the older brother anything better than he had. Ole Miss was about as good as that family was getting for a package deal. Legit national title contenders don't have to get that desperate for any player. If I'm reading the Ole Miss site correctly, Sean Patterson was the QB & Off Coordinator for some pro football team in Cologne, Germany. Really?? Well he got you ONE recruit. Great ROI with that hire. Great for us too as you will have to keep him for at least 3 years.

I'll also paste this reminder below...whether Franks is #1,2,3,7 is purely speculation. What's clear is we got who we wanted and he's very highly rated. He's also 6'6" and 225lbs. Yours isn't...

From AL.com...
LSU offered Shea a scholarship, but already had a verbal commitment from Florida standout Feleipe Franks. According to 247 Sports' composite rankings, Patterson -- from Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport -- is the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the Class of 2016, while Franks is the top dual-threat QB.

NCAA rules do not prohibit schools from hiring family members or former coaches of top recruits, though many consider it a shady practice. Sean Patterson Sr. said he doesn't look at it that way.

If anyone believes that Sean Sr isn't using one kid to advance the career of the other...you are full of shite. And what exactly does Mr Not Shady do for a living? If Shea is that good...why not FSU, Bama, or OSU?? Out of the blue he's interested in shitty Ole Miss? And that's not shady? Right...

Lol, this is clearly in your head. You seem completely ok with how this has turned out

One school likes their committ and doesn't talk trash about the other. The other school "likes" their committ because their OC "got the guy he wanted with a high ceiling", yet constantly talks trash about the other committ and his family. This one is too easy. If yall were ok with it, every thread wouldn't go this many pages with this much shite talking, yet I could literally predict almost every word yall type.

You sure that Shea Patterson hadn't been talking with Ole Miss since his Sophomore year at Calvary? Because he has. There is a deeper connection that you just don't know about breaux.

Once again you don't know the behind the scenes as well as you think you do. Find the connection and maybe you'll understand why Ole Miss doesn't mind one bit with Patterson going to IMG.

Your entire post reeks of a severe case of butthurtitis...slap some Boudreaux's on it and drive on pal!

Last but not least, I guess your team is not above some "shady practices". When you point a finger you have 3 pointing right back at you buddy. But you aren't butthurt in the least are you?
