Ole Miss and LSU are sort of in the same boat this season. If either team shows signs of life on offense they are going to be really scary. Y'all need a running game. LSU needs a passing game.

A better passer would help sure, but Ole Miss really needs a change of pace rushing attack to win I think. Something to keep teams honest, especially later in the season when there aren't that many surprises left in the bag of tricks and injuries start to pile up.

In a perfect world, I'd prefer a "game manager" style QB and a strong running game. If our running game does pick up, and especially if Buchanan is the quarterback, expect to see Freeze call a "game manager" style offense.

We have two of the best deep threats in the conference both of whom are particularly dangerous on play action, so that should be comforting to which QB does eventually start.

Our line should be better but a key injury here or there could derail the season down the stretch just like 2014.

Solid analysis.

It's really fun to see how the rest of tRant hates on Dr. Bo all season, but now, all of a sudden, he's irreplaceable. Look up Chad Kelly's stats from last season in Juco and tell me he's not a better QB.

I disagree with nothing you said. You always bring quality insight

That sounds sarcastic but it's not.

no, no they aren't. LSU has a very powerful and deep OL, a tremendous running back and running game, and they have everyone back at WR, plus they have added a 5 star wr......and their defense finished better than Ole Miss last year, and will be 2011 like this year. Remember, the team was tremendously young last year, but that won't be the case this year as for the first time in a few years, they didn't lose nearly double digit underclassmen to the draft. It's funny that people think BH is a bust. He was a TF that wasn't ready. Doesn't mean he isn't highly talented and won't improve dramatically in his second year.
