someone is going to educate out of state students. Why not be a school from Alabama to get high achieving students in. A good % of them will stay and find great jobs in Alabama. I see it as a win win for Bama and other schools who recruit them. at Least 5 people that I know of who have graduated from HS in the past 7 years got great scholarship offers from miss. schools. All of those are living and working in the state of Miss.

A good % of those students will go back to their original States and only return to Alabama 8 times per year. They provide zero tax base to the State and use Alabama Universities as an Education Mercenary.
