I disagree on the Braves. Their future is pretty bright with the pitching they have.

I wouldn't call SC a sinking ship, I'd say they're regressing to the mean. I mean it's not like they're an alabama type program. They've mostly been a festering pile of shite for 100 years outside of a bowl appearance or 2. Then less than 10 years ago they finally became competent, and had a 3 year run of being really good. Now they're going back to just being "good". When spurrier leaves they'll likely return to 7/8 wins yearly.

Haha the Braves stick out like a sore thumb on that list. Maybe if they depleted their MLB roster and had nothing coming up in the minors, I could buy it. I don't think anybody doubts that the ship will be righted in 2-3 years.

The Braves really had a one-year championship window left with the previous core and last year's debacle didn't lend much hope there. With the freed up salary space and rebuilt farm system, the Braves should be back competing in 2017 unlike the Phillies, who didn't rebuild and are now looking at a decade near the bottom of the National League.
