Fortunately, I surrounded myself with the right sort of people and began to do my own thinking and research on racism and the detriment it plays to society and have a different outlook on it now than I did 6 years ago. I was never racist, but I was embarrassingly tolerant of it. I'm hoping these kids and kids all around the country get a wake up call from seeing this.
