the casual LSU fan is bitching about a "louisiana QB" leaving the state. they honestly have no clue that shea has zero ties to this state and is going to a school where he will get immediate playing time which he likely wouldn't at LSU. best move for him.

that isn't guaranteed one bit. We have three(two are better at the moment) good quarterbacks with 3 years of eligibility left. Shea would have to beat out either a RS Jr Kincade or Jr Kelly as a true freshman to play immediately in 2016. Would be very difficult to beat out either of those two with them having a solid year's experience as a starter.
I'm hoping he'll take over as a RS Sophomore in 2018. And if he beats out either in 2017 as a RSFr, then we're happy as well.
