LSU took Franks first. That would make him the 1st choice. Keep fighting the good fight though.

yes...after realizing they had no shot at Shea.

The question is will Les turn Franks into the next great dual-threat QB turned wide-out? He's done it before...

Ah yes, the Russell Sheppard example. Great job guy

I think Franks will be fine, why don't you worry about Shea and your terrible offensive line and running game. Pretty sure it takes more than just throwing forward passes to win games consistently

So LSU knew they had no shot at Shea, even though his brother was on the staff. Makes sense.

If that's where he's better suited to make a living playing football, then he probably will. I'm sure Russell Shepard cries over his NFL paycheck because he didn't get to play QB in college.

Why are you speaking from your arse? If you knew anything about Franks, you would know he is not even a true DT QB. He is a pass first, huge guy, with a massive arm. He isn't even that fast, he may be athletic enough.. but the DT really doesn't suit his play.. at all. Patterson is more of a DT.

I would absolutely love Patterson at LSU, but to troll LSU here is silly when they already have a top QB committed. A guy who FSU and Bama both have offered.. and a guy whom some very respectable writers said out-performed Shea at the camps.
