Franks is not a DT at all, and if either QB is more of a DT it is most definitely Shea.

Doesn't matter what the sites list him at. Watch his film, Franks is a stand in the pocket, deliver big throw QB. He's not really fast, he is athletic enough to resort to running only if needed but his running does not stand out at all. Franks is always looking to pass first.

he's mobile, but he's not a scrambler QB like patterson is. patterson has great footwork and can zip the ball pretty well.

he's 6'2 and under 200 pounds
franks is 6'5 and nearing 230... he's got the higher "upside" IMO.

Probably because he knows that if Miles finds out he's mobile, Franks is worried about ending up in the Slot position.
