Hi rant, newbie Mizzou fan here. I figured since Tiger basketball isn't worth talking about, I would inquire about various hidden-gem cities, towns or districts within the SEC footprint. I'm working my way around the South and want to road-trip to various locales during baseball and football season. I have already been to many of the cities and towns where the schools are, but not the surrounding areas.
Some of the favorites I have already seen would be:
Apalachicola, FL
Eureka Springs, AR
Hermann, MO
Magazine Street, NOLA (district)
Any road-trip advice is appreciated!

Welcome.
Head to Destin, Florida...
Go east and hug the coast on the 30-A. When you get to PCB, turn around and go back to Destin. Best sand in the country IMHO.
