Into a basketball school soon.

They'll burn money on hype, marketing and pr firms probably run by Aggy alums.

Then they'll find a reason to splurge on a new big name coach and a couple of stud recruits.

No one can win in aggieland, no matter how big the name.

Aggy would be wise to tuck tail, go hat in hand and ask the big12 if they will take them back since that is the only conference around where defense don't matter.

We UK fans would heartily welcome TAMU as a basketball school. We thought we had another basketball school when Arky entered the SEC but Nolan Richardson was the only reason for their brief success it seems.

Florida has a great coach in Billy D. but we're afraid their program will collapse when he leaves.

We had great hopes when Mizzou came on board because they were good and gave KU fits. Apparently the KU rivalry was the sole motivator for good basketball, though, because their program has fallen on hard times since it died.

Come on TAMU, build a 30,000 seat arena and get some Aggies on the court who can run, gun and be competitive every year.
