What position would he coach? I've only seen Mangino as an OC.

OL/OC probably... move Spavital back to Quarterbacks coach I'd imagine

Mangino started out as an OL coach. He hasn't coached it in years obviously (since 99 at OU when Leach was OC). He was on Bill Snyder's staff for like 10 years before that although he had a weird title (Run Game Coordinator), he was essentially the OL coach.
He is slated to make 375k next year. It's really not unrealistic but I don't have any insight if he is an actual candidate
