Any reports on if he has been staying in shape and working on his game the last 6 or 7 months?
Reed has been practicing and playing with Elev8 Prep this fall. They are a top 10 Prep school so he should be in decent shape.

don't like Alex Thompson
He was the most improved player on the team this summer according to a few that watched practices and was in line to start. Think about how shitty Granger and Canada were last season compared to this for comparison. He also gained a solid 15 lbs of muscle during the offseason.

7' 220 is pretty thin.

On his wikipedia page it lists him at 7' 255.

We sure as hell need him down low
That and we really need him for the press and defensive rebounding. You gotta have a big man to protect the rim in case the team go over the press. We don't have that so we have to bail out of the press quicker now to make sure we are back to defend the halfcourt O.

What about his pending legal issue in Maryland?
Posted on 12/11/14 at 9:44 am to AUBorn
He pled guilty and his sentencing has been deferred until April.

Will he actually spend time in jail?
Posted on 12/11/14 at 10:12 am to AUNashville
I don't think so as long as he stays out of trouble.

Deferred sentencing basically means if he isn't a screw up at Auburn, they will drop charges or punishment. Normally has some type of probation program attached.
Let's hope this AU PD can sweep things under the rug at a FSU level (Or less likely he stay out of trouble)

No way he spends a second in jail unless they want to make an example out of him as an athlete. He'll be a youthful offender and do like 40 hours community service at the local habitat for humanity restore or some bullshite like that

Are you expecting him to get into trouble while at Auburn?
...after he nearly shot his basketball career down with this recent run-in?
Posted on 12/11/14 at 2:41 pm to AUNashville
He needs to learn not to bring his arm down on the defender when he makes a block. Will help him stay out of foul trouble. Just a mental thing to work on.
