I love the driving rhythm
I love the wall of JC120's and Fender Twins, and Lorenzo Carter on bass.

Yea that's right. Loring Air Force Base is a weird place...at IT in 2003 they played from the flight control tower in the middle of the night...had smoke coming out everywhere and dancers in weird glow in the dark suits rappelling down the sides...it was not good for the mind.
I think Fall 97 is the best stuff I've ever listened to myself, the Phish Destroys America tour

I remember seeing that Losing My Religion video on MTV when I was around 10 or 11 or 12 and thought it was cooler than shite... it was something different. As Peter says, it's dip shitty in hindsight, but at the time it was a refreshing detour in the music video world.
So, you were 10 years old in the 5th grade.......and when the Losing My Religion video came on with the band dressed up as Ahmish people staring at spilled milk on a hardwood floor between shots of a 90 year-old man wearing a diaper with an indian poking his finger in his chest wound...........you thought to yourself....
"Hmmmmm. What a refreshing detour in the music video world."
Whatever you say........

I'm going to the local kangaroo to get some bud light and when I get back, I'm going to deal with you, young man.

That's me in the corner........
Over by the half-gallon of milk.......dressed as an ahmish person....
That's me in the spotlight.....that represents the duality of man or some shite...
Losing. My. Religion.

Unfortunately it's more the player and not the instrument that makes it sound good...or in this case bad...

I've got these records, but no record player. Is it worth me buying a record player? I've never heard these records before, but I know who the people are.

When I was in my gear whore phase, I saw a youtube of satch walking into a guitar center, picked up the cheap plastic piece of shite, plug into piece of shite entry level amp, no pedals, and just started fricking wailing with that shite. That cured my gear whore syndrome.

Its' a good article but that happens at every mid level to large university in the states. It does make you think though.
