They declared "co-champions," even though there rules are supposed to only have one champion. Unlike everyone else around here I don't think it means shite though. The head to head loss was taken account for the week and it happened and every rankings they put out after, including last week where they actually moved TCU ahead of an undefeated FSU.

What about "one true champion" though?
Like I've been saying, the committee fricked up big time when they put TCU at #3 last week.

Yea they set themselves up for this. I don't think the ranking change at all because it's impossible for them to justify dropping TCU 2 spots. The head to head argument is invalid with Baylor. It's already been accounted for. TCU lost to a top 6 team, on the road, by 3 points. OSU lost to a 6-6 tech team at home. TCU stays. I don't agree with it and think Baylor actually should get in over TCU, but there's no way they justify it after moving TCU ahead of an undefeated FSU just last week.

You guys are crazy if you think either of those Big 12 schools will get in. OSU will easily jump them after that game tonight, and Big 12 fans will be the only ones that bitch.
edit: Unless they grow some ball and leave FSU out.

This is a tough pick. TCU looks better than Baylor right now, but Baylor won on the field so they should be the Big 12 champs IMO. Ohio St. looks to be the best of the three teams in contention, but the Big 10 is awful. Baylor's OOC opponent was Buffalo so that has to be factored as well. They're the most likely to get beaten in the playoff too, but they're probably the most deserving team.

What is so great about beating Wisconsin?
Posted on 12/7/14 at 7:01 am to MrAUTigers
Oregon is the weakest of all teams. They definitely should be in. But any of the other contenders will beat them soundly.

The Small 9 Conference can blame this entire mess on t.u. Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri and A&M all left because of those greedy S.O.Bs and now Baylor and TCU, who should never even be in the conversation, are winning the conference co-title. It should not be a power whatever conference until it gets on the phone and begs Houston, SMU and (weird) Texas State to come on board. After that it has years to prove worthiness, then we talk. OU should have left when they had a chance.

Big 12 is a better conference than B1G.
OSU DOES NOT deserve to be there.

No it is NOT! Mich St. (number 3) would beat the crap out of anyone in the small 9. You are delusional.

Well if OSU gets in, I will look forward to Bama ripping their heads off and shitting down their necks.
(And I very rarely hope for Bama to win)

I agree. No championship game and a weak conference.

Then I guess you disagreed with bama playing for the title a couple years ago when they couldn't even win their division.
