Please provide a link to another scenario where a play is completely runs and the teams are getting reading for the next play and the head official says over his communication device. The replay booth was buzzing in before we let the play run.

This dumbass did not even watch the play again. Possession was not establish while both player were in the air. The ball was rolling off Bray's shoulder pad until both players were on the ground. He is just trying to justify Fox paying him for his bullshite commentary. He missed it this time
At the time, I really thought that the pass landed perfectly in the hands of the cornerback for a catch. The AU WR was also in pretty good contact with the ball(one hand on it more than the other) while the corner's foot hit. They then went to the ground while the AU WR somehow, and miraculously, got a perfect hold of the ball just as the corner had.
I was shite tanked during the game though, and haven't seen the play since. So I really have no idea if I'm right.

They got you back with the hilarious no call on Duke in the redzone and the comically bad spots on both 4th down attempts.

One moment as I go to my archive of plays, and filter by plays that have been started before an official yells that he got a buzz to review the previous play.

Didn't have to reply. Anyone who has watched CFB since the inception of replay knows that has never happened.

They would have not been able to overturn the call, if the Official had said it was incomplete. There was not full possession in the air, and Bray got duel possession as he was rolling out of bounds. Pereira was just trying to impress people with his knowledge of the rulebook, but he did not apply it correctly.

the call was clearly incorrect.
great. Wish it happened more.

Not as late as this one. They have stopped a play during a snap, but not after the play gained 9 yards or whatever it was..
9...minus the horrible spot that the refs would have given y'all
I've seen extra points be completely run and then the TD reviewed. I honestly don't remember how late the IB review was though.
Question, did people moan about the 4th down spot near Alabama's 10 tat came up short? The one where the AU RB stretched out as he went out of bounds. My buddy was PISSED at that spot, but I remember it being short even from the angle we had, and was probably WAY short if we got a proper angle.

The game was officiated well. Some go your way some don't. That spot was correct in my opinion. You have to look at both angles to get the spot however.

How many times has it happened to Bama?

I think had it been Bama stretching the spot would have been a yard past the 1st down line.

No doubt he's just looking for ways to justify is stupid arse job.

hey would have not been able to overturn the call
The thing that set it apart to me was the ball seemed to PERFECTLY, and immediately, stick straight into the corner's hands. Like a perfectly thrown over the shoulder pass that sticks right in. I then thought the AU receiver made a "HB7" type play to get his hands around the ball. And by the time the dust had settled, the corner had caught the ball like I explained, and put a foot down.
That's just how I saw it though. It was a great play all around.

AJ would quickly snap the ball on plays like that. Then drop back and be in the middle of making reads and whistles would blow. He'd then fake spike the ball and put his arms out and cry like a baby <----that's happened, I can see it, I just don't remember when. And It wasn't as late a whistle as what happened to y'all.

Shall I link the game thread? Your fans most certainly pissed and moaned.

Y'all are bitter and have no idea.
What really happens is the 14 year old kid hired to operate the televised first down line quickly jerks his joystick to move the line closer to the ball. The chain gang then simultaneously "trips," using the sticks as crutches t stand back up. Just happens that the sticks are always closer to the line of scrimmage than before.
Alabama.......FIRST DOWN!

Still not the same as having a player tackled and both sides returning to the new line of scrimmage to start the next play only to have the replay requested.

It was prob short but it was still a terrible spot, especially considering the spot alabama got on their similar 4th down play earlier in the game.

Agree. Marshall didn't sniff that 4th down.

Who in the Hell cares? Bad calls are made in every game. Hell, just look at them like fumbles or interceptions - they happen.
