I keep hearing the argument from the Bama people that maybe UAB should fill their stadium before there are talks of funding a new one. Legion Field? Really? It's a horrible stadium in a demilitarized zone and I can't really blame anyone not wanting to go there.

Well that's the 'set up to fail' part. You block good coaches, higher calloway, prevent looking for new venues or building a stadium then point their inability to attract people as justification.
