The program was set up to fail. The repeated blocking of coach hiring and the refusal to upgrade any facilities.... Not to mention refusing to even discuss another location to play games

I hope uab alums and fans fight it. It really is a load of crap. And will hurt uab and bham in the long run.

I could not have stated it better. I got into an argument last night with a gump on the MSB about the topic, and they refuse to admit that lack of support has hindered growth.

this exactly. contrary to popular belief UAB has a solid following and the administration is fully behind the program. there have been rumblings for years now. that stadium deal really pissed some people off down there, especially with the amount of funding they had secured in such a short time and the commitments they had secured. lets hope this is the beginning of tptb doing something about it.
