Yes. They used a lot of two TE formations from what I remember

Not that I'm complaining, but what is up at Utah that Christensen is taking a demotion (I'm assuming he had playcalling duties at Utah) and Sitake is taking a lateral move in-conference?

yep absolutely. Think this is a fantastic hire. He's run a different version of the spread and actually stole quite a few concepts from Southlake.

primary differences I remember from Mizzou
- their 4 wide often included 2 TEs who mostly lined up 3-4 yards off the OT but sometimes slid fully inline
- OL blocking is man iirc, not zonal. Lot of pulling and other power concepts
- almost exclusively 10/12 personnel and the back is much more involved in passing game than the Air Raid. They designed pass plays with the RB as the primary receiver, something totally foreign to AR and the backs stay in to block far far less

Pinkel is an offensive guy though. So you have to ask how much of that was him vs Dave C? Think it's a positive he's run his own program because he understands the bigger picture. But he's young enough that this is probably a temporary stop. At 53, he can still reinvigorate our offense and then find a HC gig. Think he's bailing on Utah because it's just not high enough profile.
