The Truth about Leonard Fournette

Leonard Fournette trails Nick Chubb in every meaningful rushing stat, as well as the eye test, because LSU's offense hasn't let him run enough, as well as all of LSU's competitors "stacking 8 or 9 guys in the box".

The Truth about this thread
It's just a creative way of reminding everyone that Arkansas beat LSU.
Both RBs are very good. No need to try and compare stats across games. LF gets fewer carries in a completely predictable offense. Time will tell which one is better. I'd still put my money on LF.

I picture UGA fans staying up late at night absolutely paranoid that the entire SECr doesn't think Chubb is better despite nearly everyone , including LSU fans, agreeing he was better this year.

Right now, Chubb is better. Leonard Fournette in an offense where the forward pass is a threat and he gets 20+ carries a game is a scary thought though...

Who the hell cares? And why is an Arkansas fan starting this thread?

We all know Chubb is a significantly better back than LF. The real question is how many yards would Chubb have run for against A&M? I'm guessing double what LF did with half the carries.

He's really fricking good and so is Chubb.

I was expecting a flame but was pleasantly surprised. I agree. RB by committee hurts us with LF. He needs every carry except for breaks when he's tired.

I'm fine admitting that Chubb has had the better season. Leonard started out slow but has really improved. I'm hoping we can get him more involved in the passing game with short throws in screens.
I would still take LF over Chubb for the next 2 years but I'm an unabashed homer. Both are studs

Both were smart enough to never even consider Arkansas?

Fournette took some time to adjust to the game. He's still adjusting, and runs through people rather than around them. He'll be a monster next year.

Does this mean more to you than UGA shittin' the bed yearin and year out after being expected to compete for a ship?
Posted on 11/28/14 at 12:25 pm to deeprig9
Both backs are great. LF was the #1 recruit for a reason. It's hard to compare the two because the offenses are completely different

Penis envy to the fullest.
Arkie beat lsu guys. You're superior. Don't waist so much energy on a non-competitor. Lsu can't hold your jock straps.
Arkie to the ship in 2015!

This is a joke. One team has a passing threat, one doesn't. Let's see in two more years.
