Are you talking about the pass to cam clear? It wasn't a bad call. I was hoping for a weak side option to Brandon Williams. They were stacking the strong side.

I don't think Carson up the middle was our best bet just based on how they had been playing us.

In a number of short yardage plays over the last 2 years, Tra has gotten blown up. It's far from automatic. I'd like to have the 3rd down call back.

I agree. The problem was not the play. It was the execution.

yeah honestly it wasn't a bad call. The play was not only there, everyone but one player executed it. There is a reason Cam Clear hasn't played a lot and it isn't because he lacks physical gifts. How a guy who probably was giving up 100 pounds to him kept him from gaining a yard is inexplicable. Sumlin even subtly made that comment in the post-game presser

I didn't mind a different call there because we hadn't shown any ability to run down their throat when they knew it was coming. I was actually much more frustrated with the 3rd down call when we basically wasted a down. In an ideal world, Allen should have checked out of it but we tried to tempo. Kyle is still wet behind the ears and you can't really blame him, but the coaches should have called TO when they saw the alignment.
