Bama fans are concerned if it comes down to a field goal. LSU fans are concerned if it comes down to clock management.

Other than that, anything could happen.

You should be worried about the insane crowd noise and how your qb handles it and the mistakes he makes because of it. Because it will be completely unlike anything he's experienced. Remember my post when you are watching the game and screaming at your tv. Not talking shite, just sayin.

LSU has had a Jekyll and Hyde type year. We could win by 10 or lose by 20+. Just depends on which LSU team shows up.

I think this is Alabama's worst team in 5 years though.

First play of the game: Jennings fakes an injury. Harris isn't nervous because he has no time to think about it. Harris runs the read option out of the shotgun and pistol. Saban has prepared for Jennings to hand off the ball 60 times and is caught with his pants down. LSU wins 47-17

Damn! I woke up. It must have been a dream

I don't think LSU will be able to move the ball consistently with a power run game. They will need some short fields to work with or find some points in unconventional ways.

Why? Its not like lesser run games haven't had success against Bama this year. I don't think this is the dominant Bama team we're used to seeing. Frankly, if our schedules were flipped, this down LSU team could easily be sitting right where this Bama team is sitting now.

Bama has yet to play the two teams LSU lost to. Their best win over West Virginia (#22) equals our second best win against Wisconsin (#25). Bama's one loss is against a team we beat. We have a common victory over Florida. They've also played Florida Atlantic (comparable to ULM), Southern Miss (comparable to New Mexico State), A&M (comparable to Kentucky), Arkansas and Tennessee.

We don't really know how good Bama is yet because they haven't gotten to the meat of their schedule. Stop being smug.

Not that I totally disagree with you but this is eerily close to many comments made by OM fans. "They had to abandon the run against MSU and AU." "Look how we held UT to zero yards." I do believe 'Bama is slightly better defensively than OM, but to quote Leslie, "No disrespect but we're not Tennessee." OM found that out by the middle of the first quarter when the only thing stopping LSU was themselves. These Tigers will give the 'Tide all they want and then some, IMHO.

Why in the Hell does that matter? Isn't the desired result a win?

Of course I want to win, but having to get lucky at home on the last play to beat a Dooley coached UT isn't the way I like to win usually. Or down to Troy with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Or needing a last minute drive at home to beat an Arkansas team that hasn't won an SEC game under their current coach last year.

I love Les, he has just laid some eggs against inferior opponents.

not off base at all. When we should win he plays not to lose. When we shouldn't win, he plays to win. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Bama is strong as ever against the run, secondary is the weakness.

I don't know what he will do, but he needs to pull something out his hat if he wants to win

I agree. Saying that we have nothing to lose is pure horseshite. Yeah, we're almost definitely out of the playoff picture, but ruining bama's season, getting to 10 wins, and a good bowl game are plenty to play for.

Where is Herm Edwards when you need him?

Have you ever seen LSU play anyone But Bama ???

Les is as conservative and down right stubborn as any coach
in college football...but fun sometimes.
