Missouri is definitely more Midwest than South, but we love our football just the same as you guys. We were thrilled to escape the Bevo 12 and join such a storied conference. We are also eager to do our part by way of exciting games, increased viewership and bowl game wins. We know the Indiana loss was a huge let down for the conference and we feel awful about it. Nevertheless, come to Columbia for a game and you will be welcomed and shown a good time. Of that I am sure.

What about some of you? When will your much ballyhooed Southern hospitality make itself known on this board? When will the venom go away? Especially among the West fans?

It's a shame, because I think you guys have a lot to offer. Mizzou fans want to know about your schools and your teams. I hope that - someday - you will get around to telling us rather than wasting time slamming a program that's not going to take over the world anytime soon.
