I guarantee Bama will be in the top 4 and we will not be. They will not put 3 SEC teams in it. Chance even Bama is not in it either. It will all sort itself out by the end of the season.

This will happen.

As far as why they are doing it now. It is to get us pissed and to watch every Tuesday night in prime time. There is zero reason not to just announce it at the end of the season other than to get the debate going and to drive up ratings.

I am a guy who believes people should be rewarded because they deserve it. Not because of who they are are how pretty they are. It is why I liked the BCS more

The most deserving teams wont be there. There wil be zero reason for Bama or Oregon to be in the top 4 but both will be there because people "think" they are one of the best 4. If this is the way things should be done, why play the other games? Just start the season with a playoff of who they think is the best and run with it

I know if we win out we will be there but it will not slow down the butt hurt for us or any one else out there who wont like tonights rankings

Wait for it. Its coming

I am hoping we are not included in the initial top 4. This team lacks focus. We need something to work towards.

Yep it's hysterical that they honestly thought a playoff committee consisting of human error and bias could better pick the 4 deserving playoff teams than the BCS formula.

I don't care who is in it tonight. But at the end of the year if you have 6 one loss teams, you try and tell me that a committee of people from around the country can objectively look at all 6 and tell me unanimously which 4 are the best. I will laugh in their face.
