Also, Aggies, tell me about your new grass. Will there be anything left to play on by the end of the night tomorrow if there is indeed a decent bit of rainfall?
Since we aren't expecting any kind of torrential downpour, I'm cautiously optimistic that we won't see any significant turf issues. We ripped out the stuff that failed to take root and replaced it with turf from Carolina that was grown in trays with 2 inches of sod, so there's really no need for it to take root this time; i.e., we've cut it a lot thicker this time. This type of installation works all the time in the NFL and other applications where they play on it almost immediately after installation.

When exactly was it installed?

Think they started putting the new grass down on the 27th and finished on the 29th.

Couple of days after the rice game, they put 300k into it, hopefully it don't suck

Ole miss. Aggy can't run the football to save their lives

Their grass might suck, but at least it's grass.

I predict injuries on both sides because of the slip and slide turf.

Lol
I actually wish we had just put turf down for this year and worry about the surface once the construction is complete

Couple of days after the rice game
They ordered it a few days after Rice, but it was not shipped and installed until quite a while later. End of September, as I recall.

I don't blame the playing surface for the loss morons.
Turf statistically is worse for players. A school as rich in tradition towards beautiful landscaping as Ole Miss not being able to make grass grow is sad.

Wet conditions can be very favorable to a good timing passing attack, granted the QB has big enough hands to make accurate throws with a wet ball. WR knows where he is going, DB does not.

Does it hurt when you ride dick as much as you do? Just curious?

Lobbed up a softball. I'll let a black bear take it from here.
