@GeorgeSchroeder: This is not just coachspeak. RT @jzenor: Auburn OC Rhett Lashlee says MSU has best defense they've faced, and "it's not even close."

Oh but it is.

Total Defense
1. Alabama
2. Ole Miss
3. Auburn
4. Georgia
5. LSU
6. Tennessee
7. Kentucky
8. Florida
9. Mizzou
10. Arkansas
11. A&M
12. Vandy
13. MSU
14. South Carolina

They've been very good in the redzone but to say they're the best defense we've played by far is a stretch

Is MSU's defense statistically that bad?

Total defense doesn't tell the whole story. You take out their pass D and they compare or are better than us in some categories.

Scoring D they are 22nd. Badass front 7.

Here is the thing though. We are by far the best defense they will have played and it's not even close. That is why I like our chances in this game.

Well this makes me feel a lot better

They did allow A&M to score 31 and LSU scored in the 20's. However, I want the Offense thinking this will be their toughest test of the season
