Just because he knew what the flag was for doesn't mean he agreed with it. It was a terrible call but I blame the rules more than the officials.

Okay?? It was targeting by rule bro. Nothing anyone could do ab it. So really it's a mute point.

Sorry to say, but that was a textbook targeting penalty to me. He hit the receiver high, and although it was with his shoulder, it doesn't matter. The hit appeared quite late as well. Ruffin didn't start leaning into the hit until after it was apparent the receiver wouldn't catch the ball. The reaction by Holsey right away tells all. He knew he was gone.
