Here's what I'm seeing on this board and especially this thread:

I see a thread I disagree with and post a critical comment calling out the OP but don't tell anyone they should leave or anything.

Some of yall see posts similar to mine that aren't like your opinion and you bitch and tell us to leave.

Just go ahead and ban me if you dont wanna ever read anything I have to say, you pussies. I'm not gonna make excuses for the worst run in Hog football history.

You were pretty excited after the Texas Tech game. Your problem is you're a fair weather fan. Arkansas beats TT and you're talking about how improved we are, then we lose to A&M and you're calling our coach a fat fricking piece of shite.

Some of you complain too much. Some of you are Rick Schaeffer disciples.

Only one of us here is perfect (me). The rest of you need to review your post quality ASAP.

We have all made some good points. Now if we can stop slicing each others throats and just put all this past us. We should focus on beating bama, and the joyous Melts of all the teams we hate so dearly. Everything will be allright guys.

i personally don't mind the passion and can way more understand when someone gets pissed directly after a tough loss.

however, i don't understand someone who waits til a bye week and then gets pissy and decides to call us all pussies and pathetic for being optimistic.

Look, I am in the business of "Moral" victories And I, in my own infantile mind relish that at least those are existing in this season.

We have improved to the point that we are no longer an easy out for anyone at this point. After what essentially was a 1 and 1/2 years of recruiting, Bret has us not only turned in the right direction, but being competitive. With such shallow depth in many areas, and our D is finally actually looking like something other than Swiss Cheese. Dang that D has improved in bunches with Rob Smith, etc.

Anyone in their right mind would not have expected prior to the season that we would be showing the improvements we have thus far. However, it SUCKS TO LOSE and I also am tired of this said SUCKAGE> What keeps me centered is the Moral Victories and the idea that I believe we are a year further along in the rebuild than I thought we would be.

Still Hate losing.. with a PASSION! on, Rant Off

Dear Jesus this.

Some of you morons are melting like the A&M game just wrapped 20 minutes ago.

Anyone wanna throw in some jabs about the '06 SECCG or '10 Bama while we're throwing out our #hotsportstakes in timely fashion?

I didnt melt after the aTm game and didnt think I had been melting but I guess my melt meter is broken because I'll call out a dumb thread.

If I made a shitty thread Id expect to get called out on it, but apparently now its wrong and we should all hold hands and sing "row row row the boat"

we are actually in agreement, I think.

And this part isn't for you, but it is hilarious how I am trying to remain positive and somebody is downvoting.

I don't see a meltdown on this board? I see people pointing out positives that could be an indication of better things to come and I see posters putting that into perspective given our active 13 game conference losing streak.

Until we start winning, we're still losing.

Yea. We gotta get back to taking it out on ocelot. He's a good punching bag living in NYC. He's used to rats, bums, needles, POCs, and < 800 sq ft living spaces.

I think we've all gotten a bit tired of losing and seeing how close we were to a 20pt win over A&M is stressing us as we know they may be our best shot at winning a conference game until November.

Someone post Canaan Sandy's touchdown dance from the spring. The smile on that dude's face should get you through this lull.

I'm one of the main voices that I've noticed against Chaney on this board. I can't stand the guy. So it's just not accurate to label me a "nothing but sunshine and rainbows" kind of guy. However, I've noticed a change on this board since I got here. This used to be a pleasant place of level-headed football discussion. Now it's overrun with people who are so caught up looking at our record that they can't see the HUGE gains our team has made in a very short time. I was as pissed about the aTm game as anyone. However as a recent example, I get shot down in another thread for not already conceding defeat to Alabama a week before the game even starts. Just because I'm not readily jumping on the "Oh Bama lost, we're gonna lose 80-0 next week" train, I get bandwagoned on for DARING to think that we might make the game competitive. THAT'S where the difference in this board lies. We've gone from being able to disagree and get over it, to breaking out the pitchforks on opposite sides. This whole place needs to chill the frick out and realize that we aren't going to be on this losing streak forever, ESPECIALLY with the team trending like it is. That being said, fire Chaney.

TL;DR: I'm not calling for anyone's head. I love this place. But we need to get out of the trend of eating our own over every little thing that we've gotten into lately. It's changed the entire feel of this board.

You were pretty excited after the Texas Tech game.

Name an Arkansas fan that doesn't get excited following a win. Here - let me dispel all doubt. I HAVE BEEN EXCITED FOLLOWING EVERY VICTORY ARKANSAS HAS EVER EXPERIENCED SINCE 1999.

Now, being excited about a singular victory and being enthused by improvement doesn't mean I'm to 100% excitement levels. No, no. And maybe you missed this. But we're actually capable of getting to Atlanta. I'm not getting 100% excited for Texas Tech. There's nowhere to go. I'm getting marginally excited. Actually a LITTLE more excited after NIU (respect their program more at the moment).

Excitement for the future of the program is another discussion. But, seeing as how you only see things in black/white with no gray areas, it'd be worthless to continue to even begin to explain it to you.

In your eyes, we either support the coach and their staff 110% with no negative opinions or we aren't real fans. And you're TOTALLY unbiased.

Your problem is you're a fair weather fan.

That's funny. As a fair weather fan, how the frick could you consider me still a fan at all? Fair weather? Ohhhh that explains why I've continuously posted for the past 2 years in spite of NO fair weather! You're truly a genius. And before Petrino actually turned around? I DEFINITELY didn't root for the hogs during those down times. Sure as frick haven't been obsessed with Hog football year round (to my calendar's limit) since 1999. Nope. Definitely won't find thousands of posts during all of these down times on various message boards. Won't find ticket stubs. Won't find plane tickets. Won't find RF donations. Nope.

I criticize. Therefore, I'm not a fan.

then we lose to A&M and you're calling our coach a fat fricking piece of shite.

Pretty sure Jim knows he's fat. Me saying it on a message board that he doesn't see isn't going to change anything. But you're right. My language was harsh. I was disappointed in the play calling.
