The Mississippi lumber industry depends on that weak border to survive.

You are welcome! Honestly though the mob should get most of the credit...

Why couldn't the wealthy Texas A&M fanbase buy their allotment of tickets?
I heard they returned over 2K unsold tickets for the MSU/tA&M game this Saturday.
Its a #6 vs #12 matchup, what gives Aggies????

No place to land their planes and the Marriott is full.

there are like 3 total - you don't get credit for Lower Central America or South America.

Much better than LSU's fan base at least. When's the last time you didn't have a half-empty stadium?

Good thing you already lied, then. Now all that's left is for you to play it like that if I ask. I won't, but it's nice to know your strategy in advance

No offense to State but they are probably choosing to instead stay home and then travel to Tuscaloosa to the Alabama game in 2 weeks and then the Auburn game in November. It's hard to also squeeze in a trip to Starkville.

Most of America thinks Starkville is a mythical village in Superman.
When told it's in Mississippi, they would sooner take a red hot poker in the arse then travel there.
If Aggie returned tickets, I'm betting one of the above two cited reasons applied.

Let's see.....No direct flights or adequate hotel options in Starkville turns a weekend road trip into a lot of traveling hassle for an 11am start time. Not worth the effort, especially when Mississippi is your final destination.
If that wasn't enough, the town is lame. Even your own fanbase admits to the shortfall 'Starkvegas' has for entertainment. What the hell is there to do for fun after the Aggies kick y'all's arse in the morning except get out of town? If I'm going on a road trip, I want to be happy I went regardless of the game. I can't say for certain that would happen in Starkville. I'd rather hit the beach in S Texas after watching on TV.
There will be some Aggies at the game, but there are just far too many better options for SEC road venues to attend. Honestly, Miss State would be the very last road venue I'd visit in the entire SEC if for no other reason than no other stadium experience involves rednecks clanging cowbells in the stands throughout the game like they're at a high school homecoming parade. Noise makers are generally used, in my personal experience (so maybe I'm biased), by trashy people that have minimal situational awareness or courtesy for those around them that they continue to annoy. State fans can trash Aggie traditions all they want and I won't break a sweat because the cowbells have got to be one of the lamest and most annoying traditions in football. You aren't intimidating anyone. You are the crying baby on an airplane, the small pebble stuck in your shoe, and the infuriating piece of food lodged in your teeth after a big meal. You aren't enough of a problem to ruin your day, you're just enough of an annoyance that we realize you're still there. So keep on beating those bells to remind people you're still here if it makes you happy. It's your grindhouse. Hopefully they'll be going silent by halftime like the last time we came into town. Keep on grinding. The harder the grind, the more entertaining the fall.

Nice try, except in the earlier post I already put up screenshots of three completely different sections of the stadium -- all with block seating still available. That ain't no A&M visitor's-allotment-returned problem. That's a weak sauce can't-sell-out-a-tiny-60,000-seat-stadium problem right there.
