This is going to be a very tough game... k state doesn't get blown out at home -- played OU and Baylor to 10 points last year in Manhattan

I could see this if you're talking about Kstate adding a late touchdown like they did against OU to bring it to a 10 point margin. I don't see K state holding us scoreless for a quarter like they did baylor either.

Still feel like it'll be over with 8 minutes or more left in the 4th.

Hope you're right... I think their crowd and team will be more into this game (both OU and Baylor games were 11:00am KOs).... but emotion can only carry you so far, and sometimes can work against the home team.

I watched teh Arky/TTu game last night.

I see this going similiar to that game. The crowd was into it but its a small stadium. The game was back and forth the first half and then Arky wore them down adn you could see it coming.

I predict the grass on the field will be U.S. Open rough length.

35-24 seems right to me.

FYI, thought about you today Lanier. My great uncle is moving into a retirement community and gave me literally 9 handmade rods and spinning reels and both his saltwater and freshwater tackle boxes. This isnt some Kmart shite. This is high quality gear, some of the stuff date back to the 60's.

2009: Mizzou (8-5) beat them by 26
2010: Nebraska (10-4) beat them by 35
2011: Oklahoma (10-3) beat them by 41

And that's just since he's been back. Quite a few other 20+ point beatdowns by visiting teams in his first go-round as well.

I'm not predicting us to beat them that badly this Thursday - we've gone far too long without a road OOC win for me to be that confident. But it certainly wouldn't be unprecedented if we did win decisively.

ETA: 44-27 AU.

I really don't know what to think about this game. Part of me thinks we'll win by 3+ TDs... the other thinks our recent sputtering gets us in a little trouble.

What I watched of the ISU game almost all their success came from the QB running and a couple of nice plays by Lockett.

Stopping the QB from running should be a our #1 priority and if we do it we win going away. If we let him keep drives alive with his legs it could get a lot more interesting than we want it to.

For once, I am actually glad we play on Thursday night. After a week off, I'm not sure I could contain my excitement this week until Saturday.

So it's been 2+ seasons since they got blown out at home?... To me that's far more relevant to the discussion than games played three or four years ago.

Average margin of victory has been 5 TDs so far in 2014.

Auburn fans will worry about absolutely anything.
